Looks good on paper, but disappoints

    What it does well:

    - Nice, big running/walking deck.

    - Running and walking is very comfortable on inclines less than 8/9 degrees

    - The fan works surprisingly well.

    - No subscription nonsense.

    What it doesn’t do well:

    - Connectivity.

All connectivity is only via atZone. This means it’s limited in functionality, and, as example, has no support for Indoor Walking on Apple Health.

    - Speaker quality is dismal, and audio quality straight out of a tin can.

    - Any workout over 8/9 degrees requires you to hold on to the machine, else it speeds up over the selected speed. The motor doesn’t seem capable of regulating the speed accurately at higher inclines.

If you’re a runner/sprinter who doesn’t care about technology, then this is the machine for you, but you’d probably be better off with the 7.0AT model.

If you’re into mixed workouts or walking and like to track your progress, then you’re probably better off looking elsewhere.

Without having had the opportunity to test the 7.0AT and only looking at the specs, I’d say the 7.4AT is probably not worth the premium.
