I purchased a F70max 5yrs ago and it was great, 5 stars for our garage gym. Since moving I purchased the PT100 and can say it is a better machine overall. Fits a regular ceiling height room better. The attachments are better, hooks and spotter arms are more robust. Pulley options are better and smoother. The extra attachments like a lat pull down seat and leg press plate are a must. The smith machine barbell has more flex in it than the F70max, which does make it feel cheaper in that respect. The weight arms I would recommend purchasing bigger washers to sit on the inside of the frame as the stock ones are too small leading to the weight arm peg drooping if holding more than 20kgs. Senad has been awesome and he has resolved all queries and concerns. Definitely worth the money to have the flex team assemble for you onsite. They have built heaps so it doesn’t take them very long. Picked this up in Black Friday sale and absolutely love it. Comes with a heap of attachments and build quality seems excellent. Have had for 5 weeks and so far cant fault it. Very versatile with the amount of different exercises you can do on this (almost endless) and the whole family have been giving it a good workout. Cable operation is very smooth and cable height is very easy to adjust. Great to be able to use 1:1 or 2:1 ratio also. Smith machine works as it should and travels smoothly on guide. Only thing I would add is an additional mounting hole on the bottom left so plate for seated rows could be used on either side. Would also be great if it had a couple more additional hooks for attachments on the back of unit. We had this installed by Kieran and the team from the Parafield store and Kierens service, advice and attention to detail from purchase to installation was brilliant. Some of the best customer service I have received in a very long time. Hang on to that guy team flex!! 5 stars!
