Â
Now that we’ve seen the best bumper plates available in the market today, here is a preview of what you should look for in a bumper plate:
Price:
Like anything, price is a big factor. If you are setting up a big commercial gym and need lots of plates - its best to go for the black or crumb bumpers. After all they will be getting smashed with every workout so no point buying the competition plates.
Design:
Design is an important factor. Whether it’s a home gym or a commercial gym - think through the look and feel of what you are trying to create.
Dead bounce
When using bumper plates, it is normal to drop them or even slam them. Buying a bumper plate that has little or no bounce after dropping is the best choice. The less bounce a bumper plate has, the less likely it will be for the centre rings to become loose.
Centre rings
Armortech bumper plates are made from high grade rubber and to ensure that there is no metal to metal contact, the rings are set inside the rubber plates. This will prolong the life of your bumper plates as they will not wear off due to regular friction.
Thickness
When buying bumper plates, it is important to remember that you will be loading more than one on either side. Buying a bumper plate that has a slick design to give room for more than one bumper plate is ideal if you are going heavy.
At Flex Fitness Equipment, you will find Armotech Bumper Plates that have a sleek design to allow multiple loading. With this, you will be able to add more weight as you progress with your training. The bumper plates won’t dent or buckle when you drop them and this makes them the best choice.
There we go! You can now log into https://www.flexequipment.com.au/ and buy your bumper plates. Like you’ve seen above, every bumper plate has its advantage and will be a great choice for you. your choice will depend on your personal preference and also the budget you’ve set aside for the purchase.
